Finding the right place to care for a loved one with dementia or Alzheimer’s can be overwhelming, but I am beyond grateful to have found A Country Place Assisted Living for my mother. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this wasn’t just another facility — it’s truly a home, built on love, compassion, and genuine care. The concept of having a working farm on-site, where fresh eggs from their own chickens are used to help sustain the residents, reflects the thoughtful, nurturing environment they’ve created. It’s small details like these that show just how much heart goes into everything they do. The most important thing for me is knowing my mom is safe, happy, and well cared for — and at A Country Place, they go above and beyond every single day. I’ve always been a strong advocate for my mom, and it’s a huge relief knowing that even when I’m not there, she has people in her corner who treat her like family and advocate for her as if she were their own. The owners, Rob, and his mom, Nancy, are simply outstanding. No matter the time of day, they are always available to answer any questions or concerns I may have. Their responsiveness and true dedication bring a level of peace of mind that words can’t fully express. When my mom had to spend some time in rehab after a fall, Rob personally brought her flowers and clothes, visited her, made sure everything was up to par, and kept me informed about how she was doing on days I couldn’t be there. His genuine care and attention gave me a level of comfort and trust that you just don’t find in larger facilities. This is exactly what sets A Country Place apart — it feels like family, not a business. The staff, the cooks, and even the residents are all genuinely happy and full of life. It’s clear that the atmosphere here is supportive, loving, and truly special. After a long and difficult search, I can confidently say there’s no better place for my mom. I am forever thankful to have found A Country Place. They have given me and my family something priceless: true peace of mind.

A comfortable, caring, homelike assisted living facility. Our parents moved to A Country Place in 2020; Rob and his staff made every effort to ensure their safety and comfort. At age 96, Dad passed peacefully in his room, assisted by caregivers from Hospice and ACP. Mom is dealing with progressive memory loss; the staff is patient, attentive, respectful, and kind. When they identify an issue with Mom's health, we are immediately notified. Further, Rob and staff are responsive; our calls and texts are answered promptly. We are grateful for the Loomis family and their dedication to their residents -- and especially for their care of our parents.
Families love this community. See if it’s the right fit for you.
