Update 7.2025. Updating to keep this post out in the open! Update 10.1.24. Medications 3 hours late on a reg basis. Video footage of med tech not taking scheduled bp - but yet recording a Medication errors. Injuries not reported in system or followup. Pendant call - 1 hour plus wait times. Verified via the state-Unlicensed med tech passing meds, and this was known by the ed. Understaffed. Sunday, August 4, 2024 - from 3pm-830pm there was no med tech in the building [memory care and assisted living],no manager, only 3-4 caregivers. Resident answering the main line seeking help - residents called the police. That night my client didnt get her 8pm meds until 1am. New ED from Brunswick Ga is a controlling - never wrong- defensive- headstrong bully. This place took 2 precious months away from my clients life in this miserable place. There is no perfect place but this place is rotten and I regret making tge move here as it has been awful since day 1. Residents fear complaining as they will get kicked out. My client was moving regardless, but during a call with the ED wherein I was looking for answers regarding injuries, med errors, unlicensed med tech passing meds, etc etc., I was told that if I didn't like how she [ED Dani] ran the facility that Ms. My client had her permission to leave. Yes, HER permission. 2 hours later I receive a retaliatory immediate move out notice for my 94 yr old client. On a positive - to the two Corp members that were understanding, kind and helpful through our move out, thank you for your understanding and help. Ps. If you live here or move here - have a camera. Update: 8.9.24 - In response to the OWNER reply - please share the name and contact information. Original post: Details and pictures soon. In the meantime, do your due diligence on this facility. There are decent places out there - THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM.
