Advanced Health Care Of Summerlin

My dad went into septic shock 07/20/25. He was stabilized and was sent to Advanced Healthcare of Summerlin 07/30/25. While he was there, he received good treatment from the staff. However, when my dad was discharged 08/22/25, he still needed to IV antibiotics until 08/28/25 and he still has a drainage bag in his gallbladder. So that meant he still needed a Home Health Nurse and a Nurse that would come and help us set up his home antibiotics through his IV. Case manager Debbie told me everything would be set up and good to go and the Nurses would show up at home on Saturday 08/23/25. By 11am no nobody showed up, he had already missed his 1st dose of at home antibiotics. I started making phone calls, got no answer from the facilities that this was set up with. I called Debbie of course it was Saturday and all Facility managers where off. My mom ended up going to the facility to try and get any information. After a quite a few more calls, by this time is 6pm both on call nurses called and their managers on call told us that the home health nurse facility informed Debbie on 08/21/25 that they did NOT accept my dad as a patient since the did not take his insurance. The nurse that was supposedly needed to come and set up his antibiotics ALSO DID NOT accept his insurance, and they couldn’t come out to his house to set him up. Since all this was over the weekend nothing could be done. Come Monday morning 08/25/25 I called and spoke to Jennifer DON and Debbie case manager they were going to try and set something up. It is now 09/09/25 my dad STILL has a drainage bag and still DOES NOT have a home health nurse to come and check on his bag. I’ve left messages for both DEBBIE and JENNIFER and NO ONE has returned my calls!!

My mom was at Advanced Healthcare Of Summerlin for 48 days. Within those 48 days, she got amazing physical therapy and occupational therapy. Some of the standouts were James, Leanne and Cathryn. They worked her really hard and she came such a long way. Now she is back on her feet and rocking and rolling. All of the PT and OT staff were really phenomenal. My mother‘s CNA‘s were top-notch. They were friendly, helpful and nothing seemed too much for them. My mom absolutely loved Maria, Mercedes and Teresa to name a few. When she saw them, she knew that she would be well taken care of. They always came to work with a bright smile on their face and were very pleasant to talk to. The RNs at the facility were also very knowledgeable, Friendly and helpful. I especially liked Felicia and Kiki. Felicia needs more hours as she is so warm and caring. When she was my mom’s RN for the day or night, I felt very safe and secure with her at the helm. Vincent was a very good charge nurse. He answered all my mom and my questions and God knows we had a lot of of them. He was very patient with both of. Debbie was great as well as Kelly. Kelly is one of the main reasons why I chose Advanced Healthcare Of Summerlin for my mom. We went on a tour and she Was the tour guide. Her warm and friendly persona, really sealed the deal. She introduced us to a bunch of people and was just an overall great spokesperson for the place. I’m so happy she got a promotion as she fully deserves it. I could go on and on talking about all the wonderful people and services that my mom received for her long extended stay. I’ve never met a more caring bunch of healthcare people in my life. If you’re thinking about having a loved one come to Advanced Healthcare Of Summerlin, it’s 100% yes. They will not be disappointed, nor will their families. High marks for Advanced Healthcare!

The physical therapy staff here is the best. They actually care about your recovery and well-being. They ask about your needs and concerns, and adjust your therapy accordingly. They take the time to teach you exercises you can do that will help you improve your mobility and safety once you are at home. I came in unable to stand unassisted, due to a muscle wasting disease and long hospital stay. Three weeks later and I was able to walk out with confidence that I could take of myself at home. I would highly recommend AHC of Summerlin to anyone that needs physical therapy in a nursing home setting.
