They said all the right things and we thought this was the best place for our loved one. Don’t believe anything they tell you. If you don’t have someone to monitor the situation on almost a daily basis they do nothing they promised.

Since my mother in law moved in a few years ago the place has gone down, they don’t clean the rooms very well I usually have to do most of it myself. They don’t dust or mop or scrub the bathrooms very often. I’ve had to ask repeatedly to have her room cleaned. Her trash is always full, I don’t know when her room was throughly cleaned, I can’t say when. The staff has changed so many people every few weeks or so and the manager is almost never here, there are only a very few of original staff that are still here. A lot of times I come to see her and restock her supplies and there will be no one at the desk to let people in, I would call the different phone numbers and all the voice mailboxes are full so you can’t contact anyone. I would hope that they would do a better job for their aging residents for the money that they pay. I do love that the staff treat her well. But they could make it more of a sterile and healthy environment than what they are doing.

My g-ma recently moved in, and we are very pleased with the staff! The Nursing Director ensured us that she will update us g-ma’s progress, and she’s done just that! It’s has made us feel like we’ve chosen the right place! Thanks American House Bartlett Staff and Amazing Nursing Director Lacresha!!

Inspired by our Life Enrichment's 2025 World’s Fair program, each American House community will host a family night event on the second Thursday of each month. In October, we’re honoring the luminescence of the 1915 San Francisco World’s Fair! Residents and guests are encouraged to dress the part: white and neon colors look great with black light! The atmosphere will give guests the chance to take in a unique and colorful experience. Blacklights, neon paint, glow sticks, and funky music will add to this funkadelic evening! We're dimming the lights so we can glow in the dark as we prepare for another exciting night of fantastic food, fun, and community! We can't wait to see you there!
