The memory care staff are always on their phones not engaging with the residents. I counted 16 residents and the staff member Maya was on her phone for hours. Its like this is a park where she lounges for hours. Is management allowing this to continue? There were other staff on there phones but she sat for hours.

I had an unpleasant experience with nurse Irene. Her attitude was consistently rude and dismissive, as if she believed she was in charge of everyone. She barked orders at both patients and staff with little regard for basic courtesy or respect. It felt like she was more concerned with asserting power than providing compassionate care. Such behavior can really affect the overall atmosphere of the place and make patients feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Definitely not the kind of attitude that should be present in a healthcare setting.

I recently toured this assisted living facility and loved the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were kind, the place was spotless, and the residents seemed genuinely happy. It felt very home-like and gave me confidence that this is a caring environment. Jeff answered all my questions and provided me with a number of contacts I would need in order to make this type of a transition happen for my Dad. We had a very nice chat and found out we had known some people in common from a long time ago. Small world :).
