We kept my father in his house as long as we could but eventually it became unmanageable. We researched a number of memory care facilities in the Virginia Beach area and chose Arden Courts. We had an outstanding experience with them given the situation. There is low staff turn around and some have been there for decades! They are all compassionate and clearly care for their patients. There are lots of activities to keep the patients engaged. I've since seen other eldercare facilities and those experiences just reinforced how good Arden Courts is. If you are in the Hampton Roads area and Arden Courts is within your means then rest assured - this is where you want your cared ones with memory issues to be.

My mom has been here for a few years and my dad was here as well. No better place! The staff is amazing and know how to handle each resident uniquely. Cathy the activities director is the sweetest and so caring. Bay, Sandy, all the nurses, med techs are wonderful!!! I’ve worked in assisted living as a therapist and realize there is no perfect place, but this place is close!
