Overall, GREAT experience. My 88 year old Mom broke off the femoral head of her right leg and had a partial hip replacement. Stayed at Asbury for 3 weeks; had OT and PT 5 days a week (which isn’t available everywhere). Physical & Occupational Therapy staff was outstanding: Aleia, Megan, David, Tarsha, and many more! All Head Nurses and most staff (Joyce is a Saint!) were incredible, SO Devoted to their patients! CNA’s, please continue to treat your patients with respect and comfort, be gentle, and realize you are doing for them many things they Never thought they would need help with; it’s hard for them; embarrassing, but they are So Appreciative; bless you all! Unfortunately, I question some overnight staff; no idea who it was but as my Mom pushed her ringer to call for help, many nights and many times no help came. Even without calling, we were told night staff would check on patients every couple of hours… CLEARLY THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. I would suggest a better call system; one that vibrates or lights up so patients KNOW their call for help registers. Then, PLEASE, ASBURY, monitor your overnight staff! So many of us beg our loved ones to not get up on their own, (my Mom fell once after no help came & she needed to go to the bathroom), but it doesn’t work if NO HELP COMES!! Another time after calling for overnight help, none came, my Mom had a bladder accident and was left wet all night long! Forget about trying to heal the trauma of a broken off femoral head, and hip replacement… how would any of you reading this deal with PROMISING your daughter you won’t get up alone, only to have a bladder accident and deal with the stress, discomfort and embarrassment of laying in that situation all night long!! It’s inexcusable and after ONE warning to overnight staff, a FIRING should be REQUIRED! I stand by my four star rating, since Asbury is kept very nice and clean; daytime nursing staff, maintenance (Tracie is Great!), dining/kitchen staff, and Therapy staff are largely Outstanding, but PLEASE ASBURY, don’t ruin what could be a Perfect experience by settling for uncaring inattentive night time staff that refuse to do their job!! Amy Walker, Social Services is also Outstanding!!

Visitor of Asbury Rehabilitation. We chose this place for my dad. Great experience for my dad back in 2019 for an extended rehab. He had excellent care, support throughout his stay. Assistance planning for his discharge to home. So far, for this stay, we have been pleased and dad’s care has been exceptional. Food is good, rooms and social space is clean and tidy, options available and service is above and beyond. Grateful for the available bed. ❤️
