This place is terrible. My uncle was here and they did nothing for him. It was impossible to talk to anyone who knew what was going on. He had a catheter and he kept getting UTIs because they didn’t keep him clean. He was taken back to the hospital because they couldn’t keep him healthy. When we went back to get his belongings they had lost everything. Sentimental items that can’t be replaced (stuffed animals my daughter left him to make him feel better) and his tablet and water bottle. All they had was his clothes. How convenient. PLEASE don’t let a family member stay here.

Spent sometime with this facility. Wouldn't highly recommend it. I guess because it is Medicare and Medicaid approved. Most of the of the rooms are 3 patients. When you first arrive there, they give you a room to your self. Less than 24hrs later, they give the boot. Was placed in a room with 2 other patients . A couple days later, one woman passed away. I was in the middle,so it was traumating to me to see the staff remove her in a body bag. She should have been in a room to herself..

I see to many good reviews and they took mines off of yelp this is my experience with asbury park during 2024 different times but I want people to be aware. Hello to everyone who reads I’d like to start off by saying that this is the first time I have experienced surgery, a broken bone and a lengthy hospital stay when I was ready to go home I chose rehab instead thinking it was the best option due to needing my dressings changed and my wounds cleaned I tried getting into multiple rehab clinics but do to certain circumstances they could not accept me and when we thought we were out of options my case manager recommended Asbury park nursing and rehab he made it sound like it was one of the best ones around so I happily accepted. Upon arriving to the facility I quickly noticed the smell of urine and the state of the rooms I was ignored for the first 7 hours being there no medication no one to check up on me and come to find out my nurse never knew she had a new patient so I was left alone from 4pm-11:30pm my family needed to call the front desk to let them know and then finally a nurse ran into the room panicked because they realized I have been left alone and proceeded to give me my medication. The next incident was when one of the physical therapist took me outside in my wheelchair which I was grateful to finally enjoy some fresh air and sunlight in over a month I was told that they would check on me to make sure I was alright. After a while of no one coming I had to bring myself back in I was non weight bearing on my left shoulder and had to pull myself back inside to find out that the therapist had left home sick but didn’t inform anyone that I was left outside so I wheeled myself to my room to be met by a nurse named Justin who was helping out someone else in the room and he was moving things and bumped into my injured leg causing pain but an accident is a accident but then he proceeded to lose his temper and out loud said “I don’t understand why everyone is being so impatient” and I never said anything to him or did anything to provoke that reaction. Justin did come to apologize not long after not that it mattered you can tell it was forced as he was accompanied by a supervisor. Soon realizing that it wasn’t necessary for me to be there as all that was being done was my medication being handed to be and my wound dressings being changed I requested to be discharged and approached it the correct way by wanting to speak with the doctor (who I only saw through a video call ONCE throughout my stay) and also the case manager POOJA PELIA and I was met with a bunch of attitude as was my fiancé when we addressed the previous situation with Justin POOJA came in practically yelling at my fiancé demanding details of said incident and others that have occurred to which my fiancé replied that she wasn’t there during said incidents so obviously had no idea who the people were or anything of the sort and every other interaction we had with POOJA was met with attitude and dismissiveness towards me I’d go as far as to say that the majority of my complaints weren’t pushed up to the higher ups as when I requested to leave AMA the administrator had no idea of these issues and one issue that I had that stood out to me the most was one night I was left on a bedpan for over an hour I had pressed my call button and to no avail I ended up having to call the front office I just don’t understand why it had to get to that for almost anything I needed that required my call button I ended up calling the front office there was even a day where my fiancé was there and she had to help with something because they took about 3 hours to notice my call light was on and I’d like to add that it was almost always the night shift morning shift was a bit more on top of things. I want to add that not everyone contributed to my bad experience is like to say a special thanks to VERONICA, PAT S and there were multiple nurses who’s names I unfortunately didn’t get but they know who they are as I expressed my gratitude to them multiple times. Thank you
