My father was in one of the Avalon houses and it was wonderful. The house manager was wonderful and cared for all her residents. The food was always home cooked and all the residents were well taken care of. I would recommend Avalon above all other memory care places!!!

My Father has Parkinson's Disease, and my mom could no longer care for him alone. After extensive research, I visited The Avalon Memory Care Center. I was impressed with the very nice rooms and common area the residents enjoy during their stay. We decided to give them a try. My Dad has been at The Avalon now for 7 months and we are very happy with the care he receives! The meals are delicious, and the residents get lots of TLC from the staff! All of the staff are so compassionate and gentle when caring for my dad. Even the director of the Avalon- Autumn, pitches in the caregiving. During my visits, I have witnessed her just sitting with a resident and talking with them, just spending time with them. Some of the staff have taken my Dad for a walk in his wheelchair at the park next door while other caregivers take turns spoiling my dad by bringing him his favorite snacks. The Avalon staff doesn't just care for my dad, they actually LOVE on him!! Couldn't find a better place for your loved one than The Avalon!
