Ashley Shire is an incredible, compassionate, understanding person who made our family member’s transition to Avenir so easy. The Medical Director, Med Tech’s, and caregiver staff are all very supportive and friendly to the residents. The weekly outings are also wonderful for the residents so they are involved in engaged activities. I would definitely recommend Avenir to anyone looking for a Memory Care Facility.

Avenir is amazing!!! My mom has been in Avenir for three years. She absolutely loves it! We had my mom in two places before this (Bella Mar & Sunrise Hermosa) , each place for a year, and she hated them. My mom is very physically and mentally active (although she has dementia)and Avenir keeps her busy all day long unlike the other places. From the sales person, Ashley; to the activities director, Mario; to the amazing executive Director, Jodi; and all the staff, Avenir has the most loving, caring staff. They’re so well trained. They can deal with the residents moods, agitations, fears and their dementia. The staff truly loves and cares for all the residents. It is such a lovely community there. They have activities all day long, arts and crafts, they go on walks, exercise classes, entertainment weekly, & day trips. I used to have to pick my mom up and take her out for like five hours a day just because she hated (Sunrise). It was more like a nursing home with no activities. Now at Avenir, I can visit her for a short period of time and when I’m ready to leave, she’ll just say “bye.” Whereas with Sunrise, she was like “Take me with you. I’m not staying here.” She is so happy and so well care for. It’s such a comfort to know that she is well taken care of and loved. I highly recommend Avenir.
