Leonardo Hernandez Aceves
Amanda, the nurse, consistently shows a lack of compassion and support toward CNAs. She often leaves aides to manage overwhelming responsibilities on their own, without offering any assistance or demonstrating an understanding of what our job entails. Despite the physical and emotional demands we face caring for the elderly, she maintains unrealistic expectations and offers no grace for human error. Her behavior has come across as careless, hypocritical, and emotionally detached. I feel deeply disappointed and betrayed by her lack of empathy and leadership.

Very nice facility - currently have two family members living there in assisted living, one on in-home hospice within the Avenue 81 facility. Staff is responsive and friendly. My complaint is the seeming complacency/lack of communication around infectious illnesses circulating throughout the facility. There were multiple documented cases of Covid in December 2024 and currently, multiple known cases of Norovirus that have spread within and outside the facility to multiple visitors yet there is no communication. Hoping this is taken more seriously for residents and visitors as it's not ideal to be sick and unable to visit for 1-2 weeks when you have a parent on hospice, not to mention downright dangerous for some of the residents.

Both of my parents are there in 2 different areas. It makes it so much easier for the family. Both are well taken care of. The staff is super friendly and supportive. I appreciate all their help and guidance with my parents.
