Moved a family member into the assisted living place here a few months ago. We asked if there was a charge for meal tray deliveries and was told there was not. After 2.5 months we received a bill of over $300 for meal trays. No notice about the policy changing, and zero communication. We called to see what happened, and Phoebe started there has always been a charge. I asked why we weren't charged before and never got an answer. We discussed different plans on how to rectify the issue and Phoebe stated the solutions we came up with would work and she would be sure they were implemented. This happened numerous times over the last few months, and we are still getting charged between $200 and $300 extra a month, with no solution. We are looking for other facilities, as we have been lied to multiple times, and Phoebe is discriminatatory towards the some is the residents. We have been getting bills from the pharmacy for medications that are not covered after signing paperwork stating they did not have permission to fill any medications that were not covered. There are only 3 caregivers that are worth anything. The rest don't speak English well enough to understand basic requests, and the others become rude when residents ask them for help. The pharmacy messes up meds a lot. The care is subpar. The Director is rude and unprofessional. Please do not move your loved one into this place.
