I have the great honor of working with the team at Avita of Wells through my hospice agency. The residents are consistently out of their rooms and actively engaged with staff. In my experience, the team always goes above and beyond to ensure their residents can age in place. Plus theirs always wonderful baked goods in the lobby filling the halls with therapeutic aromas. I would highly suggest Avita of Wells if you are in need of Memory care for your loved ones.

My mom has been at Avita for almost a year now and it is a wonderful caring and thoughtful environment. The people treat my mom with true respect and the facility is so beautiful. It’s reassuring to have mom so well attended to and engaged in the many daily activities. We are grateful for the staff, the nurses and the support personnel and we appreciate all they do to make my mom comfortable and cared for.

We could not have picked a more beautiful day for this year's Walk to End Alzheimer's. Members from Avita of Wells and The Landing at Saco Bay came together for the York Beaches Alzheimer's Association, Maine Chapter Walk. We were joined by staff members, family members and even our fur-friends! Our youngest supporter in attendance at just 3 weeks old is the great grandson to one of our Avita Angels. He didn't want to be left out of the Avita has Hope T-shirt swag, so his family made him one of his own💜

When the weather “Strikes Out” our outdoor fun, we go Bowling! Avita residents and our Adult Day Members enjoyed a round of Rock and Bowl at our neighboring Bowl-A-Rama center.
