I cannot say enough wonderful things about Balfour Assisted Living and the incredible team who cared for my father. From the moment we first connected, every single staff member treated him (and our family) with the utmost compassion, dignity, and respect. The level of professionalism and genuine kindness we experienced gave us such peace of mind during a very difficult time. I especially want to recognize Dainzu, the Sales Director, whose warmth, patience, and dedication went far beyond our expectations. She took the time to answer every question, guided us through each step of the process, and always made us feel like we were her top priority. Her kindness and personal touch made a world of difference, and we will be forever grateful. The entire team at Balfour not only provided excellent care for my father, but also created a welcoming environment where he felt safe, comfortable, and respected. They truly go above and beyond, and I would wholeheartedly recommend Balfour to any family seeking the very best care for their loved one.

We have been caring for my mom with memory issues at home for the last 18 months. She stayed at Balfour in Louisville for two weeks for respite care while we went on a hiking trip in the mountains. She was apprehensive about going to "a home"...but after 1 day there she loved it. When we picked her up she said it was "lovely" , great people both the staff and other residents . She said she had lots to do every day. The clencher for us was , she said I like living with you while I can, but when it's time, that is where I want to go live. I found the staff communicative and helpful myself. A great experience .

I cannot reccomend this place enough. They tend to every need and keep the patient center in all of their decisions. They're very welcoming to families and arrange special days for families to spend quality time with their loved ones. The happy hours are some of my best memories with my Dad. The music is soothing l, and it's a fun time for residents to relax and enjoy themselves. They work hard to develop activities to engage the residents and to make Balfour truly "home." For more mobile residents, they have special outings, too. The nurses and staff are truly loving and kind. You can see they truly love the residents. After coming here for a while, it's like a second home to me. You're always welcomed and valued. I feel comfortable knowing my dad is well cared for and safe. He speaks well about his treatment and feels safe. While we wanted to keep him at home, we had to make the decision to find him care to ensure his safety. We would choose Balfour again and again. They make end of life care a little brighter considering the circumstances. They're in the business of the elderly and they are knocking if out of the park. Choose Balfour. You won't regret it.
