Baypoint rehab has been doing a great job taking care of me with therapy and general care, the nurses know what they're doing and the place is clean. I've been here since May, it's Oct now, and with the exception of getting lonely I've overall been able to keep a positive mindset. The food is good and house keeping along with maintenance keeps the place in order, just the vending machines operated by a 3rd party are an issue but management is trying to get that solved. I have physical therapy 5 days a week and feel in better shape, and that team is fun to talk to. That's it for now. F. Wayne Brown , October 1st,2025.

Horrible experience for the most part. Following hip surgery, I arrived at Bay Pointe by transport from hospital and on Friday. Immediately experienced a lack of care or intent to assist me. I was literally issued a bed pan and explained I would be using this all weekend and expected to be able to use it without assistance by staff. Horribly difficult to raise myself onto the bed pan and more difficult to get pan out from under me after using it (spilling onto bed a very reality likely). Figure out on my own what to do with full bedpan prior to ringing call bell for disposal of bedpan contents (I determined able to place it on top of the trash can next to my bed, however, once experienced the filled bedpan spill all over the floor next to my bed) and I was forced to smell this until it was finally cleaned up. Every weekend staff person displayed as if overworked and unable to actually provide caring and actual assistance. I could not understand why this facility had agreed to accept me when they after all so clearly displayed as if not actually having time, and genuine agility to desire to provide me the level of individual assistance obvious like even yes assistance while resorting in it as if the only option available for me all weekend. When I would use the call bell for any assistance, even medication for pain relief, it was like I was putting staff out and expecting unrealistic attention. Waiting a half hour before anyone responded to that call for assistance was followed by a staff totally uninterested in doing anything beyond turning the call bell off (at best I would experience a mumbling totally rude words like “what do you want” - my gosh, this was my experience from all staff throughout the weekend. The total and simply lack of assistance by staff to provide me genuine care and desire to assist me, it was shocking and beyond shameful!!!
