Our Care Approach
Birch Pointe emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach, with physical, occupational, and speech therapy available alongside skilled nursing. Staff collaboration with families is a stated priority, and the facility is designed to support both short-term recovery and long-term care. While therapy services receive consistent praise, nursing care and daily support can be inconsistent, according to family feedback.
Family Experience
Families often notice the facility’s cleanliness and the kindness of certain staff, especially in therapy and dining. However, experiences vary widely—some feel well-supported, while others report frustration with care coordination, communication, and unexpected billing. Seems to be a great place to rehab. Very clean, rehab team is great, food was pretty bland to say the least. My only problem with them was we gave them checks after my sister in laws stay and we were told we were paid in full. Then we received a bill for over $800 which they tried to charge up an up charge because they had a cost increase AFTER she left. They waived that charge after confronting them. Then another bill and another all for bogus charges!! If you go here to rehab , watch your bills closley!!

Very nice place. My Grandpa is staying here now and it's very clean and very nice large private room with a huge bathroom. The therapists do a really good job working with him in mobility. When I'm old I would want to stay there because it's so nice and clean. Employees seem to really care about their patients welfare here

When we looked at the place before bringing our mom here, everything looked good and functional and certainly felt like she would be in good hands, but it turned out to be just the opposite of what you would like to see in this type of facility, especially if you're loved one is there under their care. Keep in mind that this review is not talking about all of the staff, some of the staff are good, hard working people who take pride in their work and care very much for the residents that live there and their comfort and well-being. In general however, it is easy to see a lot of laziness, staff that don't care about the residents, miscommunication, and just an unprofessional approach to running such a facility. If I were to go into details, this review would turn into a book! The food they feed the residents is awful 90 percent of the time. Most of the residents don't hardly eat much of their food. I could go on, but I don't have all day. Again, this is not fair to the good workers there! I am forever grateful to them and what they do!! I felt like I had to give this review because of everything I have seen in the time of my mother's stay there. If you don't want your loved ones to go through a hard time the last days, months of their life, then I would tell you from the heart, KEEP THEM AWAY from Birch Point!!
