Do not have your loved one here. So far this is day 1 and we are already having a problem. I received a call at my job that one the staff this evening would not assist and no one answers the call button. I reported several times my mother is not able to walk. She is there for rehab to be able to do her ADLs. There also seems to be an issue at a certain times of day they stop answering the phone. We are going to see about another skilled nursing facility. My mother says the day nurses are great and 1 lady at night is good but there's no reason why someone cant answer the phone. So now my mother is being discharged today without any preparation just basically told to come get her. My mother cannot walk. So clearly I can't get her in and out of a car or in the house or anything. I was told we would know over the weekend. Now im expected to just leave work to figure this out. I even asked about cost and things of that nature so I wouldn't even up in a last minute situation like now. This has been an awful experience. Some of the workers are really nice and care and others you can tell they don't care at all.

My sister is bed bound, has COPD and mental issues. On one occasion when I showed up her diaper was so full of poop it was literally up on her stomach. Some had already dried on her butt and when I was cleaning her butt her skin tore bc of bed sores. Her meds were always missing, she was never properly cleaned and was mistreated. The Saturday before Easter I showed up (they expect me on Sundays) and she was not connected to the oxygen. The cup that holds the water was in the trash across the room. They tried to tell me she did it. I believe she pulled it loose but she didnt clean the water up or put the cup in trash, bc that is impossible. The tec didn't even know how to reconnect the bottle. When paramedics arrived her oxygen was 76. When she got to ER her co2 was in the high 80s. She was put into ICU. Her co2 will not come below 80 now. If I wouldn't have shown up they would have allowed her to lay there longer without her oxygen bc she gets on their nerves. They leave other patients in hall laying in chairs all slumped over and twisted.

This place should be shut down. Save your family member and send them anywhere else. They will send you to voicemail or disconnect the line before the nurse will give an update. Even if you leave a voicemail they won’t call back. I had to threaten having a wellness check done just to get a nurse on the phone. They are dangerous and neglectful. They don’t give all of meds because they try to pass it onto the next shift. They leave patients that are bed bound in their mess for far too long. More recently they disconnected my mother’s oxygen to change the humidifier and didn’t reconnect the oxygen. They tried to blame it on my mother but how could it get in the trash across the room with the patient being bed bound? Once we saw it they grabbed it from the trash to get rid of the proof. Thankfully my aunt went to visit or she probably would have been found dead. When she got there she had to call the ambulance because her oxygen was high 60’s-low 70’s and for who knows how long? Even the paramedics called them out and said we needed to get them out of there. Once she got to the hospital it got to the point where doctors in the ER were discussing intubation. I’m an RN myself and I can guarantee you they don’t give a damn about their patients. I have never seen such lack of care and negligence in a healthcare facility. They are only there to get a check and it shows.
