I used to love going to work here. I put so much time and energy into Bonadventure! It felt like a second home, a safe space for me. I worked here as a QMAP in the memory care unit for well over a year and had to walk out mid shift because new management became a conflict of interest for me and was attempting to push themselves into my personal life at home. Things became very uncomfortable. I felt harassed, abused, and neglected. Management is absolutely terrible and unprofessional. Not only that but the management doesn’t help their staff when they are understaffed. They leave their staff to drown on the unit by themself. They will try to call everyone in to help but won’t step up to help themselves. Bonadventure is not what it used to be and I don’t recommend anyone works there or take their family members there because 9 time out of 10 there’s not enough staff to take care of your loved one ESPECIALLY in the memory care unit. They definitely prioritize the assisted living unit over the memory care unit. I will never step foot on this property again. 0/10.

At first I enjoyed going to Bonaventure last year then when I returned this year there was new staff and I was barely there for two days and a staff member who I didn’t know and he didn’t know me or about me made false statements and false accusations to get me in trouble just so they could work for my company I believe his name was Ryan not only was he in on it but the assistant manager I believe her name is Ivory was in on it as well. They both made false allegations to get me fired. I have never been treated so poorly and I don’t like when people treat me bad when they don’t even know me. Then I was told I was banned from there and just now finding it out because t no one can for sure say why but I know it’s just more lies. Now I see and understand for myself why the turnover rate is so high from the staff to management. All of the good staff that was there before is no longer there and most of the staff there now aren’t as good as it was before with an exception from the kitchen staff, front desk and lif. Not only that but including the expensive price just to stay there. It’s not even worth it. On top of the poor reviews they have about the food and living conditions which I have seen for myself . I have been to other facilities and they have been excellent, but I never expected to experience anything like this from a company I had the upmost respect for before would turn out to be the worst now but it was a lesson learned for me and in the future I hope I will not have to encounter the things I went through with this facility from another facility like that

I am so grateful for the care my husband's parents received in Assisted Living at Bonaventure.
