My mother was a resident of Carolina Bay and recently declined to the point that we needed additional care for her. I reached out to Bradley Creek to get additional information to determine if the move from independent living to assisted living was warranted. With the help of Bill Piper, she was assessed quickly and it ended up that we admitted her into hospice care at Bradley Creek. The care and attention we all received, most importantly the care and attention my mother received, was extraordinary and seemless. My mom's end of life experience was ideal. I've been involved with hospice agencies and have sat in many "facilities" because of that involvement....Bradley Creek does not feel like a facility. It feels like family. Honestly, absolutely everyone genuinely cared for my mom's comfort and care. My brother, sister and I were then able to be fully present and also at peace with mom's decision. A huge shout out to Sarah and Hanna for their above-and-beyond work to coordinate and expedite the transition. We are all so pleased and grateful for everyone at Carolina Bay and Bradley Creek.

Many of the staff at Bradley Creek are quite good but I’d like to acknowledge those who gave me especially good care. Nurse Diana thought outside the box to solve a particularly painful bandaging problem I had. Nurse Key was also very caring caretaker as was Bonnie who took care of us during the lonely nights. CNAs Terra and Destiny were responsive to my needs and became special friends. PT Dwayne taught me how to walk again, encouraged my progress, and was the first to treat me to a walk outdoors. OT Allyson taught me how to shower safely and other essential life skills. Curran was prompt to respond to my request to change rooms due to noise issues. I would rate Bradley Creek a “5” except that the food service was very uneven. Some meals were very tasty while others were inedible. Also the housekeeping was spotty until the last few days I was there. All in all Bradley Creek provided what I needed to recover from hip surgery and I wouldn’t hesitate to return there if needed.

Roger and I consider his stay at Bradley Creek very positively. His duration of 21 days required the assistance of many of your staff and we are grateful for their competence and willingness to help him progress. Mary Simmons
