The staff treats the people they care for like family. Impressed doesn’t begin to say what a wonderful place both the Assisted Living and their memory care is. I have been in many similar places, and I would recommend Brookdale without hesitation.

Residents endure frequent, loud, random announcements over the PA in their rooms. Tonight, 6/15/25, there were two rounds, multiple times each, of their nonsense announcements. The announcements are "ZERO EIGHT ZERO ZERO. ZERO EIGHT ZERO ZERO. ZERO EIGHT ZERO ZERO". They can happen at 10 pm, at 3 am and at 5:45 am and are a constant source of stress and anxiety. This has been going on for several years according to the director of nursing. Rooms are unsanitary. Toilets too revolting to go into detail and filters on room HVAC never tended. Temperature in dining room too chilly for elderly residents who are told it’s to keep staff working in kitchen comfortable. Visit and see residents in their sweaters and jackets as they dine.

Brookdale has given the best care to my mother with Alzheimer’s. She was in another facility prior where they could not figure out what worked best for her. We moved my mother in November of 2024 to Brookdale and she has been happy and well loved. The staff is always great with her and they answer all my questions. I am very pleased with their care for her.
