This community (caregivers, residents and leadership) took great care to welcome my loved one, and ease her adjustment. She has been there for a year, and loves living there. I feel comfortable that she is safe and cared for. They have a number of activities for residents of every interest. I would encourage you to take a tour of you are looking at senior communities.

My uncle is a resident. He kept saying the food wasn't good, and one day I had lunch with my uncle at the facility . The food served to the residents looks delicious, but it's tasteless like chewing carpet, bland no flavor , taste like dog food no seasoning .

I worked briefly at Brookdale Courtyard Puyallup as a caregiver before injuring my ankle outside of work. I provided a doctor's note as requested ( doctor note mentioned for me to do light duties) but management continues asked for a second letter from my doctor t before returning to work. However, management ignored me when I expressed my reluctance to obtain a second letter from the doctor, which would incurred additional bills, especially since the company doesn't have a suitable position for me. I also didn't want to return as caregiver exacerbating my ankle issues with the 7 hours of cardio walk,Nevertheless, management continue pushed for second doctor's note. Although I suggested resignation, the director was persistent in getting doctor's 2nd note, which gave me hope for a position they have that fit my needs. I expressed concerns about additional doctor bills if Brookdale didn't have a suitable position there’s no need to doctor and incurred another bills, despite my concerns, the director brush my concern aside continue to push for second letter, in one of his email stated, "Ok. As soon as we have your doctor's note with the specific limitation, we will get you going and provide you the details for the shift and duties." I trusted the director's words. However, after incurring 2nd bills with getting doctors noted and submitted to director… all silent and unresponsive. This experiences raises some serious red flags about its integrity and how it treats employee Like myself. Can future potential residents really trust what they say? I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this facility, let alone actual family and friends. How can the management sleep at night after dashing me with hopes for me to incurred more bills and then gaslighting me? Interesting another’s review indicated , 'Director: negative 100. Completely incompetent and dishonest.' I completely agree with the part “ dishonest “. You’re right on that ! Golden rules Truth always sets a person free ! To be continued: I’ll edit to shorter review and along with uploading emails exchanges between me and Brookdale court yard management..
