Brookdale Utica

For many years, my mother, sister, and I cared for my grandmother at home. But as life changed, we realized we could no longer do it on our own. Our family knew two people who had been at Brookdale and spoke highly of the care they received, so we decided to look into it. From the moment we chose Brookdale, we knew it was the right place. The staff, the cooks, and the overall environment made it feel just like home. It was truly a wonderful place for my grandma. She loved being part of the community—playing bingo, attending mass, enjoying music, and doing crafts. She made many lovely friends, and we are incredibly grateful for the care and joy she experienced at Brookdale. I would recommend anyone that is looking into a place for their loved one to come to Brookdale.

My father has been here just over 4 months and is very happy. The staff is personable and always so welcoming and friendly. They all know his name and address every time they see him. I feel great that he is enjoying himself and feels comfortable. The facility is super clean and the food is great. The front office staff always greats me with a friendly smile and hug. I would recommend Brookdale time and again.

When it became clear that our Mom deserved a better quality of life and care, Brookdale Utica checked all of the boxes. The community, staff, and residents are the best. The staff know my Mom and care about her. They make sure that she is involved and not isolated. This place gives us, her children, comfort because we know she is in great hands! I truly feel we found the best place for my Mom to have the best quality of life!
