The community features one-bedroom accommodations and a long list of amenities, including fitness programs, movie nights, a library, and arts activities, aiming to keep residents engaged. While the facility promotes access to nearby medical offices and pharmacies, families should note that reviews highlight significant concerns about care quality and cleanliness. Burlington House provides the basics of nursing home care, but families are encouraged to visit and ask detailed questions about daily life and staff attentiveness.
Our Care Approach
Burlington House Nursing Home provides skilled nursing and rehabilitation services with staff available around the clock, but reviews suggest care is inconsistent and often falls short of family expectations. While the facility lists a range of medical and personal care supports, families report gaps in attention, medication management, and basic hygiene. The care philosophy, as experienced by residents and families, appears reactive rather than proactive, with significant room for improvement in responsiveness and compassion.
Family Experience
Families visiting Burlington House often describe a stressful experience, citing difficulty finding their loved ones, poor communication from staff, and frustration over missing personal items. Many feel their concerns are ignored, and several have taken steps to report the facility to authorities. Positive mentions are rare and usually focus on individual staff members rather than the overall environment.

Do NOT send your loved ones here. Do NOT work here. This place is HORRIBLE. It is not sanitary, residents never have what they need (clothes, linen ect) The staff and management (90%) are very lazy and do not have any compassion when it comes to the residents. This place is also very unorganized and from management to the nurses and aids no one communicates.
Christine Wright
This place should be your last resort for your loved ones. The staff is not friendly or professional and does not seem to care about the residents. The aides lack the ability to even pretend they enjoy their jobs. They always had a blank look on their face and seemed to be bothered if you asked them a question about anything. One aide told my niece whose mom was there that she wouldn't leave her dog there. That statement caused my niece to have nightmares. She eventually moved her mom out. The building is not clean and reeked of urine. Oh, they try to cover the smell by sitting a ton of air fresheners around throughout the facility. So you can bet they were not mopping the floors or cleaning the place. The residents are left alone for long periods of time wondering around unattended. The meals that were served to the residents were crap. All in all, this facility is not a good one.
