Cadia Rehabilitation Silverside

My mother was patient there in 2022. She was in for physical therapy on her legs. I I visited her several times a week. On many of those visits I saw her sitting in the hallway crying. When I asked her about it, she told me she'd been there for several hours just sitting with no attention and nothing to do. When I inquired about why, and asked why she wasn't getting the physical therapy she so desperately needed, I was told because her therapist wasn't there. I asked why she couldn't have another therapist and was met with hostility. She never got her strength back and ended up in a nursing home because of it. She passed away on January 22, 2023. If the people there at Cadia had done their job, she may have gotten her strength back. I will NEVER attend this center or recommend it to anyone else!

Cadia Silverside is an excellent facility and has caring, courteous, and hardworking staff. When I first arrived, I was unable to get out of bed and was unable to do anything by myself, but through the hardworking, diligent, and courteous efforts of the staff I am better than ever and able to function independently in the outside world. A special thanks to the therapy team for their determination and another special thanks to the social workers for all their hard work. Thank you Cadia Silverside!

I have to give this nursing home a 5 out of 5. My mom fractured her hip and was brought here for physical therapy and rehab. Not only did they do an amazing job with her and she was up walking within the first week there. Not only was this place very clean but they took very good care of her. Most nursing homes that I have been in actually have that faint smell of urine or just that "nursing home" smell. This place never had a bad smell. All the staff were always so friendly and helpful. The food was pretty good also. I sometimes tasted what my mom didn't eat. I hope my mom doesn't have to go back into a nursing home for any reason. But if she does, this would be my first pick.
