I have a dear friend at this facility. My friend developed sores on her buttock area because the staff were not moving her every two hours and allowing her to remain in a urine soaked diaper too long. We have placed labels with her name on her clothing and bedding and it still gets lost. Her items are trickled back into room. He laundry basket was lost for several days and she is always missing socks. Also I have gone there when I have observed her floor needing to be swept. During the 4th of July they served hamburgers and hotdogs. The hotdogs were barely warm and the hotdog buns were hard and cold, I know this because I was there and I tried one of the hotdogs. Also, this place seems to always be experiencing staff changes. For the amount of money they are paying to be there, you would think the residents could get better care. I had to meet my friend at her primary care appointment, she was driven there by YourLife driver. When she arrived her clothes were stained and dirty and she had made a complete mess with a chocolate pudding cup that they gave her. I know this work is not easy, but they could better.

My mother was in a place she could no longer live independently and her needs were slightly more than what we could handle as far as caring for her. Capital square at Tallahassee gave her the help she needed to regain her piece of mind in her old age.

I have been very impressed with the care my husband receives at Capital Square. All the staff, from the director through the maintenance and housekeeping folk, have made a difficult decision reassuring and easier. The meals are great and the facility itself is bright and clean. I feel this is a safe and healthy place!
