I had surgery, June 11, 1 week in hospital, then to rehab, wasn't there long because I developed bronchitis.,back to hospital, after there i got a blood virus, hence I had to take 6 weeks of shots .then I got gout. I could stand on my feet for almost 1 week. After 2 weeks and 2 days in hospital. Back to rehab. All the nurses, day and night did a excellence job. They all knew there job and did perfect. The Cna people were always ready to help you, with a smile and always ask if there was something they need help you with. PT girls were always nice to me and help me learn I needed PT when I didn't think so. Great activity for everyone , with a smile or laugh. Maintenence guys were really nice. All in all . I went home happy, except one flaw. They assign a doctor to you, I only saw her once when I check in .I had afib. I do not know if it was address. I never knew. Just beware of who, your doctor is, mine lives in Montana. You don't have a one on one with her. Not my ideal of a doctor in a place like this. So beware of that

When my grandma entered Casper Mountain Care Home, our world felt upside down — but over the next 7 years, they became like family to us. Through the ups and downs, there was always someone in our corner. The staff cared for her with love and compassion, making every transition feel supported. She was often outside greeting everyone or enjoying the activities — bingo, crafts (I’ll treasure forever), and even outings to parades, concerts, and rodeos. These moments gave us memories we wouldn’t have had otherwise. No place is perfect, but with the right people in your corner, it can be beautiful. Casper Mountain gave us 7 years of care, love, and a lifetime of memories. I’m truly thankful for our experience and thankful for the family we made.

One of the most uplifting places I have been. The laughter, care, and support is so impressive. This is a great place to work and a great place for residents in long or short term care!
