The photos on the website are a complete misrepresentation of the actual facility — particularly the second floor, where he was placed. The conditions in that wing were unacceptable. The environment felt neglected, unwelcoming, and far below the standard of care expected for elderly residents. I was horrified that this was where my father was placed and reluctantly left him there overnight only because discharge and transport couldn’t happen the same day. When I raised my concerns, admissions claimed the website photos reflect only the first floor and explained that private rooms exist but were “not available at the moment.” That explanation doesn’t excuse the lack of transparency. I also questioned why an 84-year-old was placed with a roommate in his 50s — a completely inappropriate pairing for a vulnerable senior recovering from surgery. Both Clovernook and Mercy Fairfield need a transparency plan in place. Families should not be misled by curated images or incomplete information when making critical care decisions. The disconnect between marketing and reality is deceiving and unacceptable. Families deserve honesty and dignity for their loved ones. Visit Clovernook in person before making any placement decisions — and Mercy Fairfield should be deeply concerned about referring patients here under these conditions.

The check in/out process is very good, no waiting for a clerk to get off the phone. All of the staff have always been very polite.

The staff is always collaborative and helpful which I greatly appreciate! I am greeted with smiles each time I visit. Very friendly environment.
