Can only comment on PT/OT area as I did my rotation there. Penny is a great director and really cares about her staff/patients. They made things streamlined to help w patient care and allow us freedom to take patients out and about which is important for community integration. Parking is mainly its downfall. The CNAs are quite lazy and can cut corners. Higher up staff were notified about such things, but I was finished w my rotation before I saw any updates. If I were family, I would randomly show up to make sure CNAs and other daily/nightly staff are doing their job. Can def recommend the PT/OT dept as we saw great improvements w fine motor hand skills and global gait training.

Our family is very impressed with, and grateful for the excellent care that our loved one is receiving at College Vista. Along with being efficient and knowledgeable, the staff affords thorough, compassionate care to residents and acute care patients. They are also committed to addressing the questions and concerns of family members. The most impressive (and comforting) characteristic about the health care team is their commitment to keeping family members informed about the status of their loved ones. Recently, our loved one needed elevated care and was transported to a local ER, and was subsequently admitted. In communicating with hospital nurses, the nursing staff related to us how well cared for our loved one was by College Vista. Our family made the right decision in choosing College Vista.
