I am honestly not sure how this place has 4 stars unless it's staff and friends of staff providing reviews. My experience with my loved one being at Coronado Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center was UNACCEPTABLE! Rooms were filthy with bugs, dirt, dirty linens, and urine-stained mattress. Hallways frequently smelled like cigarette smoke. Staff frequently ignored basic hygiene practices - handling meds without gloves and failing to wash hands. Call lights went unanswered for long periods, the room was uncomfortably hot, and night staff were loud and disruptive. During the night there would be patients fighting and staff would curse back at patients. Sleep was impossible at this facility as it felt unsafe. There are a small handful of staff that were amazing and I would hope they see this and GET OUT! This is a place where your skills and compassion go to die. If you have a loved one who needs a facility this is not the place! Save yourself the stress and find somewhere else. I moved my loved one to Northpark for a much better, cleaner, and safer option.
