Julie and the ladies in the office are all fantastic people, very helpful and understanding with getting my sister placed. She had a little trouble at first but she has adapted well and we come visit her almost every day! They get good food, have all kinds of activities for the residents to participate in, have monthly dinner parties for the families to come spend time with them. And they can even have pets! A great all-around place for people with memory issues.

This week's Cooking Hour was a sweet success! Our residents whipped up delicious cheesecake cupcakes using cream cheese, powdered sugar, a buttery graham cracker crust, and topped them off with cherry filling. Not only did they enjoy mixing and creating their own treats, but the smiles after the first bite said it all! We love combining fun, creativity, and a little dessert therapy.

With vibrant markers in hand, we painted ladybugs, fruit, flowers, and just about anything else our imaginations could dream up. Our residents had an absolute blast during this week’s Tug & Toss Showdown! In this fun and engaging game, players carefully pull a string to guide a cup—balancing a ping pong ball—across the table. The first to make it across gets to throw a ball and try to knock down a stuffed animal at the end. It’s more than just fun—it’s great for hand-eye coordination, focus, and fine motor skills! We also enjoyed some friendly competition with our brand-new Giant Connect 4! This beloved classic encourages cognitive thinking, strategy, and social connection.
