Most of these reviews are from staff memebers trying to get their ratings up. I know because I was the activities director for 3 yrs and the administration would ask everyone to to leave good reviews so we could get more patients.. I left due to having to hire my Administration daughter who was lazy as heck, the social services girl is a joke! She acts so childish and will talk to family's that way as well. Her mom is the ADON. Way to many family memebers that work together. When I tried to address issues I was told to stay in my lane. The place was/is a hot mess. Staff don't care for real. U have maybe 2 that do a great job at all times. Some that walk around and act busy and all of them outside taking to many brakes. All staff memebers will be outside at the same time leaving the halls unattended. The dining room normally left unattended with residents who are choke risk. Meals being served late or no staff in the dining room for 20 30 min to pass trays making the food cold by the time it gets to the table. I really tried to address this stuff but administration and DON didn't care. They have another new DON and administration but from everything I see and hear it's still a horrible place. I literally witnessed and made out compliant forms with residents for being left all night in an un- made bed and no blankets, not once but 2 times. Ppl that sit In their chairs untouched for hours (state records) and ppl in bed not charged for hours. Under staffed is 1 thing but laziness is definitely another and a lot of them are just lazy and really don't care. There really needs to be someone with a backbone leading that place! The ADON at 1 point when told someone needed meds made the comment it's going to be awhile I'm the only 1 and have to pass the whole building she then went out to smoke. Was outside 15 min came back in and I said, so and so is crying she needs her meds and needs to lay down. She said agian. It's going to be awhile. By 8 she was already outside smoking again. U made these ppl wait just so u can go smoke? People there mess around more then work! Don't chart most the time and all around just suck! Showers are rarley done and residents will go weeks without! Just be cautious before letting your loved ones be there! Unless you plan on being very active in their care then the staff will pay a little more attention to said patient but only when your are paying attention. Sad to say Nursing home are not as good as the used to be. The I could go on and on since I was the 1 who did all the resident council meetings but we will leave it here! I know there are not many options for nursing homes but really check into places before leaving your loved ones.

Stayed there 3 weeks for some rehab. I felt most of time I was treated as a child. And my medical concerns were not addressed . If your going there for short time don't expect them to be too concerned about your health ..
