This facility had a lot of positives at first, but as more and more staff kept leaving it was obvious management was the reason. My mother was there for four years and at a time where she needed kindness and support she was kicked out. She was on hospice and was declining and Tina (manager) decided she was too much work and had to leave. She was moved to a nursing home and died within 30 days with nothing or no one that was familiar to her or anyone who and loved her. Management knew that moving someone at that late stage of dementia would speed up her death. She was not only kicked out during Covid but I was unable to step foot in the new place until she was very close to dying. She was was isolated for 14 days and in that time she lost almost 10 pounds. I would have never thought that how much she was loved in the beginning she would be hated that much in the end. So no I would NEVER recommend this cold hearted facility.

Not at all happy with the care my mother did or didn't receive at Couryard Estates! My mother was in a wheelchair, therefore ,if it wasn't meal time she was left in the dining room all day alone completely ignored. My last visit I left her outside with others on a hot summer July day, exactly 2 hours later I returned and in disbelief my poor mom was still outside ALONE gripping an empty plastic water glass and sitting in dirty pants . Many times accidents in her bed were not changed by certain CA's but bed still made. Yes, 2 aids were great but one of them doesn't work any longer or maybe once in awhile (Tiffinany I think) and Ciara. The activities definitely need some help! Eveytime I have been only movie nite or nail painting. Although ,the girl who comes and does exercises some mornings is awesome, genuine and caring and know all their names. And Kathy's husband Scott who sings...they adore. But that's it. My Mother never caused any problems here, was sweet to everyone and it is very sad to see how neglected she was here. Already in one week at my mother's new home she is a different person, she is happier and talking way more. And is never left alone , constant wonderful activities daily!!
