Discovery Village is a beautiful place. I have visited several senior living facilities in Brevard County, and this is my favorite. I provide private duty care services to one of the residents and I have to say it feels like home every time I come here.

My brother is currently a resident at Melbourne at Discovery. Having a troublesome situation with his evaluations and the point system they use to determine his level of care that is needed to pay for his living there.

This place has drastically went downhill every since new management mold all threw out the building it's been in the building the residents are getting overcharged it's not enough staff they cut the nursing staff for overnight even though the website States they have 24-hour nursing so they can get bonuses at the end of each quarter marketing is lying to move ins the air conditioning is not working properly se rooms don't have air they give them small fans for one room so the are confined to that room because there isn't air moving the executive director does not know the residence by name she guesses the names after she finds out the names she laughs that's not funny at all I moved my relatives out because of the inconsistent lies and overcharging on my relatives rent lost key 150 to replace is just insane none of staff had nothing good to say about management nurses quit they been threw two directors of nursing since she took over someone should call state those residents deserve better that's why my relatives moved out please pay attention when doing walk threws look at the ceilings in assisted mold all over the ceilings I recommend you choose wisely when looking for ALF
