My brother had been in 5 nursing homes that were deplorable. The cleanliness was horrible, not being changed and uncaring staff. I had resigned myself that there wasn't a good nursing home available in Delaware. With a little luck he was transferred to Wilmington Excel Care, what a difference. His nurse Peter is great, he understands him and takes excellent care of him and keeps me informed of his care. I have never once in the 6 months he has been there felt he was uncared for. They have been accommodating in every way. His room is cleaned everyday and he is up in a chair in a social room around staff and others to have social time and eat with others. They call no matter day or night to give me important updates on his health. I am so glad how well he is doing there. Thank you to all the staff for showing there are people who care.

This place is horrible. I was there for respite, and they treated me like something was cognitively off with my brain or something. The food in this place is horrible. And unless you have a traumatic brain injury, that would be the only place for people, if you it just happened to be disabled. And unfortunately, have to be in this place. That'll treat you like something's wrong with you

This is Kevin Gandy again.I really had to do this one Separately.Because,My right foot and my leg was badly infected,I was 3 seconds away from be amputated.Dr Harewood and especially Jen, Has done an excellent job keeping my wound cleaned and wrapped correctly. My wound vac would stop working properly several times. Jen would always find out the correct solution. Cachet and D.Lenora Prayer these four have gone triple above and beyond. Daniel and Prayer are an excellent team. Things always went very well on their shift. Corinthia and my nurse John were awesome too,.Georgia the nurse practitioner was very helpful with her kindness and how well she delivered information that will make my life better,I now will become better with my diabetes.
