Fairwood Retirement Village & Assisted Living

Mind bogglingly difficult/impossible to find addresses here, definitely recommend stopping at the main office and asking directions because it's a literal maze, inside the main building and the condos outside too. Beautiful situation, nicely maintained and clean buildings, large trees and park like green spaces, pool, garden room and dining room in the spacious main building, helpful employees. Food is good, made from scratch bread, obvious effort put into presentation and flavor of food without being really fancy. There's a hotel type room for visitors of residents to stay. Plenty of activities and ways for residents to meet and build community.

I currently work at Fairwood Retirement in the Independent Living Community and have been for the last two years One of my favorite things about working at Fairwood is walking in the door in the mornings and seeing the residents having coffee and conversation. They always say “good morning “. I enjoy watching how the residents help each other, look after each other. Fairwood is a pleasant place to work, and the staff and management is very caring. I feel very supported and so grateful I get to work at here. Fairwood is also a pretty place to be. I love the green spaces, and the greenhouse and how artistic and creative the residents are, from quilts to gardening techniques and many fabulous stories I get to hear constantly from residents that they feel it is a joy to live here.
