Fountain Springs Assisted Living

The people that work a Fountain Springs are hard working, caring, passionate about their patience. The place was clean and well maintained. The FS has a chaplain that comes in every Sunday morning and provides religious and church services a long with personal devotion times and religious hymns. The staff that is in the Physical Therapy department is top-notch, the staff in PT not only provide the care and understanding on on getting you back to doing your exercises to regain your strength and mobility. The physical therapist also had me along with other people do things in the kitchen, the bathroom and laundry area so that when you go home, you will be the best suited for those situations at home. In the dining room area for where I was located, the staff was overwhelmingly helpful And polite. Other people and myself had a problem with some of the coleslaw that was being served they sent a representative from the kitchen to talk with me. The next time we were served coleslaw everybody at my table had seconds that’s how good it was. They resolve the problem with no issues. The person that sat beside me was a E7 in the Marine Corps and was a cook for 21 years. If they could just work on their vegetables, a little bit, a lot of them came out like mush. I did not prefer that and neither did anybody else at the table. I’m sure that problem can be resolved here in the future. My nurses, CNA‘s and cleaning staff were excellent. They took really good care of me. I felt like I was part of a family there.

Fountain Springs is a wonderful facility. My mom was a resident for 6 years before she passed. Everyone had been very friendly and helpful. During the last days of her life , the staff was very attentive and caring towards mom and our family. The staff became family and truly care about the residents.
