One of the worst nursing homes I have ever been in no AC in most of the rooms no screens in my room but plenty of flys getting in you food. Plenty of flys

Place had rat droppings used cigs and tabacco in the cabinets and storage areas. Kitchen was disgusting cooks were not wearing hairnets. Staff was clueless. Residents were not properly cared for they were left alone by themselves for long periods of time.

My disabled veteran brother stayed here. He lost probably 30 pounds on account of they give a meal consisting of a slice of bread, one slice of cheese and an apple juice. He was transferred to a VA facility and Garden Court "can't find" his personal property consisting of an xbox, games, and a thousand dollar iphone. I have been trying to call all morning and the phone rings once then goes dead. I will be contacting the ombudsman's office about and pressing charges if applicable. Also, the air conditioning was out for months last summer and was never fixed, temps in my brothers room at 85 degrees on the regular. This place should be shut down. I would give negative stars if able. Today i have called 13 times since 10:57 am and they will not answer the phone. Once they picked up and then immediately hung up.
