I am very concerned about the quality of care and management at Germantown Home. During my time there I observed chronic understaffing, residents left in soiled linens for extended periods, and recurring sanitation issues including evidence of pests in resident areas. There have also been frequent scheduling and payroll errors and a workplace culture described to me by multiple staff as retaliatory and hostile, which I believe is affecting resident care. I recommend families verify current inspection reports, ask about staffing levels and infection‑control procedures, and contact the Pennsylvania Dept. of Health or the Long‑Term Care Ombudsman before considering placement.
