My wife was Grand Living's first memory care patient. She made the transition from assisted living at home to this beautiful facility with 24-hour care and security very easily. The caregivers became part of our extended family. As her dementia deepened, she could still make contact with her eyes, smile, and engage indirectly with activities. I was able to visit often as the facility is only 5 minutes from home. This arrangement was much better for her and for me, knowing at all times she was safe and secure.
