Crazy Dogs & More (Crazy Dogs & More)
As a family we have been involved with several memory care residences, many wonderful caregivers, and a few executive directors over the years. In my experience, the executive director sat in an office and was seen during holiday celebrations and milestones, or contract signing. The caregivers are always on our minds as they take care of our family member, and interact with family about the good and bad day to day. Over a period of time the caregivers become family, and I think they are the lifeblood of a facility. In one instance, I have seen a facility where the executive director is actually out in the residence interacting with residents, family, and staff on a regular basis. In my case the following occurred: I visited Country House in Granite Bay on 12/2024 and met with Marissa Payne and Kim Springer. We signed an agreement to have my mom transferred to this facility in the very near future. These two ladies were amazing and the decision was made easily for Mom to reside here. We moved Mom in on Christmas eve and there was demo furniture in her room when the movers arrived. Kim Springer immediately started moving the furniture out and down to a vacant room accommodating us to move in. Once mom was settled I called to thank Marissa and Kim for everything they did for us. Since I had Marissa's card and I knew she was the sales director, I assumed Kim was the director of this facility, which made perfect sense in my mind. I asked for the director when I called, I wanted to let Kim know how impressed we were. When a man answered and stated he was the director I was confused (didn't sign with him). I asked politely what Kim did there, he replied that she was the director of sales and marketing, confusing me. I explained that Kimberly presented to us with such care and ownership that there wasn't a doubt in my mind she should be in charge. A few weeks went by and Kim was promoted to Executive Director, a title which she earns on an hourly basis. My nickname for Kim is Madame Director, and if you know me, that's a title I would never randomly give out unless totally earned. If you need to house your elders in a memory care facility, please go see Kim Springer, The best "Madame Director" there ever was.

We had such a wonderful experience at the Paws & Pros event hosted by CountryHouse Granite Bay! The entire team made the day feel warm, inviting, and incredibly well-organized. Marissa was absolutely phenomenal her attention to detail, positive energy, and seamless coordination made the event a joy to be part of. Paul brought such a genuine and professional presence that truly reflected the heart of the community. And let’s talk about the chef Michael wow! The food was not only delicious, but thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. Guests (and pros!) were raving about it. This event showcased the best of what CountryHouse offers: compassion, connection, and community. Thank you for such a meaningful and fun day!

Marissa Payne has spoken to our caregiver group twice this year. She is extremely knowledgeable regarding the subject she presents and her presentations are heartfelt. We will definitely ask her to come again because she has so much to offer our residents as they go through a very stressful caregiving journey.
