While we like all of the staff that we interact with at the facility, and the 3rd party therapists that work there are incredible, the corporate support has been difficult. Our initial invoice has incorrect charges that we were told would be fixed on the next invoice, and not only have most of them not been fixed yet, but they continue to add incorrect charges on subsequent invoices. Additionally, from my mom's perspective, the residents complain that the meals don't change much from week-to-week (they have daily specials, but they are pretty much the same every week), and they have been told that the menus are dictated from corporate. UPDATE: Just received my 4th invoice, and we are now 4-for-4 with the invoices being incorrect. Double charged for meals, charged for external pharmacy, and no refund of late fees that were supposed to be returned. UPDATE: I received my 5th invoice, and while most of the earlier late fees and other incorrect charges were refunded, I am still getting double charged for meals. If you intend to have someone at High Pointe, be sure to check your invoices since they do not have any quality control, and don't mind charging you extra.

My Mom was not eager to go into assisted living but at 98 we didn't have a choice any longer. When she arrived staff came out to greet her and rolled her into the lovely dining room. She never missed a meal after that. The dining room staff was wonderful and the food delicious. Her apartment was perfect and comfortable and housekeeping kept it bright and shiny. She had a lovely view as well. All of the aides and nurses were so gentle, caring and well trained. They were always respectful and friendly. All of my interactions with administration were great. Even though Mom passed at 5 months, her last days were filled with love, care and humor. She even had her cat there which was a huge perk! I recommend this community without hesitation! 😻

Ever since tara and katelyn became in charge everything is terrible. there is no communication. They act like everything is so perfect in this place just to get you to have one of your family member move in and they will go behind your back like snakes. There is no adequate staff, its almost always short I see the same caregivers almost everyday they look exhausted. They need to rehire someone else other than katelyn and Tara they are terrible I would not recommend sending your family member here they are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and BACKSTABERS
