About Holiday South Hill
Holiday South Hill is an all-inclusive independent living community nestled on 24 wooded acres in Puyallup, Washington, operated by Holiday by Atria. Monthly rent covers three chef-prepared meals, weekly housekeeping, scheduled transportation, and a full calendar of activities — making it a straightforward, worry-free path forward for active seniors. Renovations completed in 2024 have refreshed the community's spaces, and the setting alongside winding woodland paths and a pond adds a peaceful, residential feel.
Our Care Approach
Holiday South Hill is an independent living community — it does not provide on-site nursing or personal care services. Residents who need support with daily activities are welcome to arrange private, third-party home health aides, giving families flexibility to choose the right fit as needs evolve.
Family Experience
Families navigating this path often find reassurance in seeing how consistently staff are described as kind and attentive — particularly during difficult moments like a parent transitioning from a familiar home. The all-inclusive structure simplifies budgeting, though families should be aware that if care needs increase over time, outside home health aides would need to be arranged separately.

I moved in September 15th and so far I love it here! I'm in a spacious studio apartment. They have all the amenities one needs to enjoy an active healthy lifestyle. The food is good and the staff treats everyone with kindness and respect. I like the fact it's gated and there's plenty of lights in the parking area. I can't find anything negative to say about Holiday.

Watch out with this place! Moved out on January 24th. Gave the appropriate notice that I was moving. They then charged me for February’s rent. Made several calls to them for a refund. Never returned my call. Had to contact my bank to take care of it. Still no return call from them or an apology from management for the inconvience of taking $2500.00 from me. March comes around and they have done it again, another $2500.00! Horrible service and shame on the management team for this. I hope they will fix their process for future residents!

My parents Ron and Bernadine lived there in the duplexes were very happy and involved with so many fun activities. My mom passed away at 92 in January of 2020 just before the Covid pandemic. We moved my dad into the main building and it was a tough time for him and our family because of the quarantine and not being able to visit him but the staff were very helpful in helping him through the transition. He's 92 years old and still very active and involved with the people and fun activities that are there. The staff are friendly and are very nice to him and our family. Thank you so much for everything. ♥️😇💯
