Inspired Living Lakewood Ranch

UPdate😱10/3/2025 Family member was taken out by ambulance, The resident was there for only two weeks, we did ask for a refund the director Zach Benjamin and I have it in an email stating that he would only give us a refund if we took down the two Google reviews and we sign a release saying that we could never post anything again. What does that tell you about Inspired Living? I will let you all make up your own mind and like I’ve said from the beginning, put a camera in the room. If you decide to even put your loved one in there, I’m going to post the email that he sent me and I think you all will be shocked. I never said anything derogatory Google says as long as we don’t say anything derogatory we have every right to express our concerns. Inspired Living wants me to take it down and I’m only telling the truth. Nothing that is misinterpreted and they want me to sign a confidentiality release from further posting anything. There is no recent reviews. At the present time, I can only give a two star. We placed A family member into this facility only temporary it’s not exactly what we thought it would be. The Director Zach said it would be two weeks before everybody get acquainted with the new patient, but some things that should have been 100% from the beginning like the cafeteria and the caregivers that should be no problem. Medication did not get delivered from the pharmacy of their choice so patient had to go without medication. Melissa, the front desk person is absolutely wonderful and she seems to hold the place together as she is very attentive and very noticeable. I would give her a five star. Jesse and Tammy and Markey have worked hard to get things going. Still having issues. So for now, it will be a two star and I’m hoping I will update with more stars for now. Our family has to be up there for 4 to 5 hours a day and that is not what we thought this was going to be. Just being honest. I tried to add a video on 8/30/25. The video explains how the care team did not listen to the resident. The resident just asked to turn the fan on and that was ignored. Definitely is a language barrier with the care team. The video is very interesting and I will continue to try to download it after seeing the video people might think different about what actually goes on inside the residence apartment. If you read the reviews, Zach Benjamin is a director and he gave a great review. The reviews are very mixed, but I can tell you you always want to put a camera in the room. The director was not pleased with it, and they will put a sign outside the room saying that there is recording. Apparently the Care team, even with the camera in the room does not treat the resident with compassion. Please look beyond the pictures on Facebook. Please look beyond the opening when you first walk in the door to the fireplace. Please take a close look at the care team as they will be the ones caring for your loved ones you need to take an inside look at what is really going on. We have now have the resident out because 911 needed to be called because apparently he got a fractured tail bone when he went out on 911 he had pneumonia. He had a broken tailbone and heart issues with none of that was seen before his arrival. Please be very cautious. I can’t even stress enough to put the camera in the room. The family is arguing with the director about a refund He’s not fond of the refund so now this is what I’ll do on the Google review and tell the truth, but this is not over yet.

As a local senior care advocate I want to acknowledge the cleanliness and how well maintained the community at Inspired Living at Lakewood Ranch is. I am in communities weekly and this community is always top notch. Whoever is handling housekeeping and maintenance has an eye for detail and is providing a clean and wonderful environment for the residents living there. If you have not been to Inspired Living at LWR and are looking for a great community in the area that is well maintained, look no further.
