If you love and care for your family member DO NOT place them in Legacy at Savannah Quarters. We recently placed our mother with the Legacy, she requires assistance due to seizures, liver failure and heart issues, our father had just passed away a month earlier, they tell you all these great things they have available such as activities, salon, weight room, etc. And we were paying a large amount of money a month mainly so that there would be staff to keep an eye on our mom but what we didn't know at the time was that at night their is below minimal staff there to address issues that may happen, we found out quick the whole building and the apts have flooding issues when it rains and puddles of water just sit in common areas without staff even trying to clean them up to prevent someone from falling, my mother ended up having a medical issue and had been in bed for 2 days without medication or eating before we realized on camera that something was amiss and had to take her to hospital and on her return back from hospital several days later entrusted the staff at Legacy to control her meds, they royaly screwed that up too, kept giving wrong dosage and at wrong times, even after I told them they had to have the exact medication lists from her doctors only, they took the hospital list instead and it's wrong and we didn't go over it before they got it even though we requested it to be gone over. My mother woke up dizzy and confused due her liver issues and she fell in the bathroom and hit her head on the tile shower and a staff member happened to come in and put her back in bed but failed to contact me, her daughter that something was wrong nor did they have her checked out for head injury, my mom finally called me screaming crying on the phone and that was the last straw for me. This places fails the basic needs of the residents on top of fails to recognize when ethically and morally they should place a 2 min phone call to the family. Marcus, executive director of this place has no business running a residential location for anyone, he does not care, he does not hire enough staff, he does not have any knowledge of how to talk or address these issues if they come up, all this place wants is your money and to do as little as possible, we got our mother out and never got an apology or any indication that they wanted to try and fix the issues. Also, we were moving our mom out and a covid virus broke out at the Legacy, not a word from staff about it, no signs, no warnings but the put masks out for the staff, below acceptable services and zero care given to our seniors, it's ridiculous. I will do everything in my power to notify who I can until changes happen.

My loved one lives there, and she is treated with exceptional care. This is definitely a place you shouldn’t overlook when searching for a home for your loved one!
