Legacy House of Avondale

In 2023, I needed to find assisted living care for my 80 year old sister that would cover a 4+month period from January to May 2024. For both my sister and I, the appropriate facility had to be resort-quality, and must assiduously maintain the safety and welfare of its residents. Of equal importance would be that same staff's necessity to efficiently manage my sisters on-site medical care and physical therapy. This would also involve overseeing her complex appointment scheduling (including transportation requirements) involving 7 separate medical specialties, as well as 3 scheduled dialysis sessions per week). Legacy House was suggested to me. My sister and I scheduled an immediate visit. We were both impressed by the caliber of professionalism and positive demeanor of every staff member and resident that we encountered. The facilities were magnificent and flawlessly maintained - like walking onto a Marriott Resort Property. The staff and residents were so welcoming to us. Their competency and genuine sense of wanting to insure my sisters care, safety, and wellbeing never waned during her 23-month residency at Legacy House. It has be outstanding! During our facility tour, I was deeply touched to see how committed the staff is to resident safety and dignity. They replaced all bathroom doors to swing in both directions — a thoughtful change that ensures immediate access in case a resident falls. True compassion looks like this!

I moved here in 2020 to be near my son and since then 2 others moved to the area as well. I have been very pleased with my apartment and the services provided. I would encourage people looking for a place, that this would be the place. If anybody would like to talk to me about it, I would be happy to talk to them when they visit.
