Took my wife there on a Friday and removed her on the following Wednesday. On Saturday I found her bed was made but when I pulled back the blanket her bed was urine soaked. Also I found that she was still wearing the same clothes she had worn into Symphony the previous morning even though I had brought 5 days worth of clean clothes and pajamas. So she was wearing the same clothes she wet herself in while sleeping on the bed the night before. She also was smelling of feces and upon examination her depends had feces in them. I cleaned her up myself after notifying a CNA about the situation. No helped offered. I had notified the intake person when asked that I would like my wife bathed at least twice weekly UNLESS she had a bowl movement which they agreed to do. Because she has dementia she needs assistance to eat. They dropped her food off in her room the first day without so much as even asking if I would be feeding her. Sunday was a repeat. She was wearing a soiled depend and no shower yet. I complained again. Same went for the feeding. In her bathroom the toilet seat slid back and at least 6 inches in either direction which is a bad situation for an elderly person to try and sit on. I notified a CNA so that it could be repaired. No one fixed it. Monday I notified the person that admitted my wife of the continued situation and that if my concerns weren't met I was removing my wife. She assured me they would be. Tuesday again was a repeat and still no shower. Enough was enough and I removed her. And they still have the chutzpah to bill me $1,200. I will be contacting the state of Michigan's Attorney General going forward. My suggestion to anyone reading this is find your loved one a better facility because looks and a tour are deceiving.

I love how big and spacious the rooms are, other places I have seen are much smaller and cramped... also OMG the variety themes & decor down the different halls offers a soft touch. With new builds and modern designs there is a sense of coldness, but Symphony TriCity feels like home. There is this awesome memory lane spot that offers all kinds of cool history to some surrounding towns with old photos to reflect back on memories. Pretty cool spot for ALL care needs; rehab to home, long term care, hospice, respite. TriCity also offers Assisted living and memory care, a one stop shop for all your care for those in need.
