A few weeks ago LOUDONVILLE Assisted Living Home honored 9 Centennials with a wonderful celebration filled with live entertainment, amazing food, dancing and an abundance of love. I want to thank the Levine family and all the amazing staff who all worked together for putting this event on for our all our families. My mom is 105 years old and has been a resident there for the last 9 years. She has always received exceptional care there, meeting all her needs both physically and emotionally. “I feel very safe here and everyone is so kind,” this is what my mom tells me a few times a week. She lives in Memory Care at Loudonville and our family all agree that the staff make her feel loved and respected. They laugh with her, hug her, and enjoy her company. By doing this they are giving her the dignity to live a full life, despite having this disease that robs people of themselves. Living with Alzheimer’s upsets her and yet she can feel how much the staff care and protect her. For that, we are so very grateful. When she calls in the evening she’ll say, “I just came in from being out with everyone and we were laughing and having fun.” Loudonville is unique and beautiful. It feels like a home. As soon as my mom was diagnosed, I put her name down on the waiting list and we are thrilled she lives there! Michelle
