It has been a three year journey to have my father choose to move out of his home of 30 years. In all that time I have had many stressful, frustrating, and saddening moments. Throughout the entire process I was amazed at how supportive, and patient, and understanding Alicia Fleming was to be, and to my father. I often felt like it was hopeless but she always encouraging and following through on everything she promised to do. Dad is now in his second week at Maple Ridge and Alicia is still working to assist in his getting comfortable, and succeeding. I could never have made it through without her calming influence.
