About Margaret E. Moul Home
Margaret E. Moul Home brings over 40 years of experience to caring for adults with neuromuscular impairments, setting itself apart as one of only three Pennsylvania facilities specializing in this level of care[3][4]. Residents live in private or semi-private rooms they can personalize, surrounded by shared spaces like living rooms, dining areas, and multiple outdoor courtyards—including a Japanese-themed garden and a therapeutic recreation space with shade and swings[4]. The community emphasizes holistic wellness, offering skilled nursing, rehabilitation, occupational and speech therapy, dietary management, and a full calendar of social and recreational activities[1][2]. Multi-sensory studios help residents relax and engage, while vocational programs foster independence and purpose[2][4]. Families will find a team dedicated to dignity, individualized attention, and creating a true home environment.
Our Care Approach
Margaret E. Moul Home focuses on individualized care plans, combining skilled nursing with therapies and wellness programs tailored for adults with neuromuscular conditions[1][2][4]. The community aims to support both physical health and emotional well-being, though one review suggests variability in care standards.
Family Experience
Families notice a warm, engaged staff and appreciate the range of activities, from arts and crafts to animal visits. However, one family’s experience included a serious care error, highlighting the importance of asking detailed questions about training and protocols.

Such an amazing place and truly caring staff. Out of all the homes I've been to this one felt like they really went out of their way to care for the residents. Lots of activities, arts crafts, they have animals they bring for the residents to play with, just feels homey and the staff treats their residents like family.

They Harassed they constantly, they’re very unprofessional & they do not train you probably which they ended up giving a resident the wrong consistency of food & drink in which it made a big problem that it had to go under investigation.
Families love this community. See if it’s the right fit for you.
