My mom moved to Martin Luther Care center in 2020. It was during covid and very stressful. We had no idea that she would go from being in TCU all the way through hospice in just three years. I am giving this review five stars despite the fact that there were days and times that were frustrating and plain sad due to staff shortage. Trust when I say, the people that were there worked hard. Many frustrations were through no fault of their own, and there were times that could have been better. The people who showed up for my mom were countless and endless compared to the faults that can happen anywhere. Some staff switched to different floors and departments and would COME BACK just to say hi to my mom and see how she was doing. 💜 My mom would call me so excited that they came to see her. It made her feel good that they cared. There were also days I had to talk with management about behaviors or other concerns as well, and they always listened to me. They heard me and my mom out and they did their best to remedy issues. My mom was an extremely loving and sweet person. It was underneath a somewhat rough and hardened exterior at times - coupled with health issues and daily pain. The staff did amazing with her and the best part of it all is they *saw* her. Got to know and love her. My mom passed almost 2 years ago and since they couldn't come to her service, they took a group photo of the team wearing purple or Prince items, because they were favorites of my mom. 💜🥹 Its very sad to see so many poor reviews and that there were so many bad experiences. I just dropped off nine cards and small tokens to some of the staff that are still there who were so good to my mom. I believe they care about patients/you/your family member. We could feel it. That was my experience and that was Mom's, despite some hard days. There were many more good days and ways in which people showed up to be of heartfelt service to her. I would recommend Ebenezer and Martin Luther Care center.

I lived at Matin Luther Campus for 7 years!! It is a wonderful place to live. I finally got my strength back due to the care and love I received. I was just recently able to move out of Martin Luther and went to assisted living. I couldn’t have done it without them!!

I would NOT recommend putting your loved ones here. I don't know how their assisted living section is, but my grandmother has had to spend the past week in rehab here after falling severely ill and being hospitalized. They almost always are always out of food, apparently. My grandmother was brought a baked potato for dinner. And that has been the case almost everyday she has been staying here. They also seem to be severely understaffed. My grandmother requires assistance going to the bathroom, but after several calls for assistance, she managed getting herself onto the wheelchair and to the bathroom. They shower patients only once a week, and no time is spent on maintaining and cleaning the rooms that are often housing 2 beds. All that to say that the place is managed very poorly, and the only reason I did not give it one star is that the facility itself seems to be in a decent shape. I will be pursuing this through appropriate state regulatory agencies, but I also wanted to echo many of the other reviews in case it helps people stay away.
